"They unpacked every drawer and box to make the boxes count go up and up. They kept asking for extra fees and they were too young to be considered "professional movers". They did charge extra for assembling back the stuff, but now all my furniture is loose, so we have to go screw by screw re-assembling. With other moving companies (this is the 5th time I move inside the US) I never had ALL my little furniture disassembled, cause it fits in the truck already. They kept asking us to sign for the extra boxes when they were already half way thru, so no way to confront them. VERY unsettling situation. The unpacking service was a joke. I unpacked ALL my kitchen and the kid's rooms. They only unpacked some stuff in my bedroom and mainly they put a pile of clothes (literally a pile) inside the closet. They arrived promptly at 9.30, but they were not finished packing until 4pm. A 2bd/2bd apartment, not a big house. They arrived in the new house almost at 5pm and they were done unpacking at 7.30pm (they stopped for dinner). Does it seem like time enough to really unpack professionally? Never again will we hire unpakt."
