Milwaukee may not be one of the top beer-making cities in the US that it once used to be, but the city still has many bars, taverns and microbreweries where you can sample some the finest craft beer in the country. Take out a day to go shopping and dining in Milwaukee’s Lakefront area on the shores of Lake Michigan. One of the prettiest downtown areas in the US, it is lined with many fine boutique stores, galleries, restaurants, parks and monuments. Some of the most prominent landmarks of the area include the War Memorial Center, Milwaukee Art Museum and Discovery World.
